今日のShow ＆Tellのテーマは「好きな祝日（日本、海外問わず）」でした。海外特有の祝日がいくつも出てきましたね。国によって性格の違いが祝日からも見えてきて面白いですね。
写真はShow ＆ Tellの発表順番を競ってじゃんけんしている光景です。みんな自分が一番最初に発表したいんですね。それでは生徒の発表をいくつか紹介します。

My favorite holiday in America is Independence day. I like Independence day because it is my birthday. It is on fourth of July. I like my birthday because I can see fireworks for free. But in Japan, no fireworks and it is not a holiday. So I want to go back to America on my birthday.

I had so much fun at Christmas last year. I wanted the Sylvanian families from Santa. My wish came true. I had an elephant (toy) family a Lego moana as I wished. I had fun playing with my new toys. I had a small fun Christmas party with my family. It was such a fun Christmas in 2020.

I like the holiday called Melbourne cup. Melbourne cup is a horse race. Some Japanese people and horses come to Melbourne by ship to join the race. The people that watch the races wear dresses or tuxedos. I never went there but I have watched it on TV.
